This position reports directly to Legalist’s leadership. You’ll be joining a growing team of investment professionals, attorneys, and software engineers. Core responsibilities: Own recruiting companywide, including originating attractive candidates from various pipelines Assist leadership with developing compensation and retention programs for senior staff members Manage payroll/compensation, benefits, and related administrative matters for a fully distributed team of investment professionals Oversee annual evaluation process and facilitate year-round performance feedback for individual teams/personnel Develop and own employee onboarding and ongoing training processes Assist and provide guidance to executive and legal teams on employment law compliance and related issues Qualifications: 7+ years’ total relevant experience 3+ years’ experience originating prospective candidates in financial services (e.g., private funds or asset management) Highly organized with well-developed attention to detail and project management abilities Prior experience at multistate and/or international employer strongly preferred Flexibility, humility, and a sense of humor required
